Having read all about casino games, I’m sure you can answer this question now. Craps or other casino games cannot be won all the time, irrespective of how many strategies you use. You win at times and lose at others!
Craps is also a chance game like roulette and others, but as far as the casinos are concerned, there is no chance involved, as they ensure they keep an edge at all times. This is how they make their money and stay in business.
No strategy can completely remove the house edge and make a player win. The only thing that may be possible is to reduce the house edge, increasing the chances of winning.
But how does one place bets that reduce the house edge? This can be done only by learning about the odds of all the craps bets. There are bets that give players a better chance at winning, and it’s all about finding such bets.
Here are the house edges for some of the craps bets:
All these bets come with a higher house edge when compared to the ‘simple bets.
These are the simple bets which have a lower house edge:
It is a good idea to play these simple bets without getting too adventurous.
The house edge on these simple bets is not high and is better than most other casino games. There is another wonderful bet you should learn about. It is the Odds Bet. Now don’t go looking for it on the craps table, as it is invisible.
This is the very best bet and gives a huge edge to the players. Although, it doesn’t show up on the table, it is a supplemental bet that is placed after a point is taken. Odds bets are placed on any of the simple bets given above.
However, there are certain limits to the odds bet, and the amount is usually 2-3 times the original bet amount. But there may be casinos where bigger odds bet amounts are allowed. The bigger the odds bet, the lower the house edge.
If it is 1.41% house edge on a pass bet, it goes further down to 0.85% with a 1x odds bet and reduces to 0.61% with a 2x odds bet. Just imagine how much lower it can go if the casino allows higher bets on odds.
If you really need a craps strategy that works all the time place simple bets and follow up with odds bets. This reduces the house edge to the maximum, giving you, the player, a higher chance at winning.
