MILAN – the midfielder Mark Van Bommel admits that he could leave AC Milan to join PSV Eindhoven at the end of this season.
34-year-old contract with the Rossoneri this going to run out in June, and PSV reportedly interested in bring back the former star.
“I have been contacted by PSV and there is mutual interest of both parties,” said van Bommel as reported by Football-Italy, Friday (02/17/2012).
“There is a possibility that might happen, but not 100 percent, because everything was decided at a certain time. PSV and Milan who will decide,” he said.
However, despite the opportunity to join a big club the Netherlands, van Bommel who had defended Barcelona this season remain with Milan will focus on three competitions are still play by Massimiliano Allegri’s farm club.
“For now, all I think just about the best play for the Rossoneri,” he said.
Milan’s current management will discus a contract extension with the players whose contract will expire at the end of this season. Van Bommel came to the San Siro from Bayern Munich in January 2011. He also spent six years at PSV before leaving in 2005.
